Louis Vuitton "Cabinet of Wonders"

Louis Vuitton "Cabinet of Wonders" 13 March 2024

Louis Vuitton presented a collection of three watches under the general title "Cabinet of Wonders". This watch is not just an accessory, but a fascinating work of art.

The creators were inspired by Gaston-Louis Vuitton's personal collection of Japanese katana swords. In tribute to the former CEO of Louis Vuitton, there is a Gaston-Louis Vuitton monogram on every watch.

In Koi's Garden watch, a pair of three-dimensional white gold carp swim in a stream. The stream is decorated with pebbles of smoky quartz, rock crystal, and 105 diamonds, imitating the glare of sunlight on the water.

Snake's Jungle is a bamboo forest made in a sophisticated marquetry technique consisting of 367 individual pieces of wood, parchment and straw inlaid by hand. The snake was created in three techniques: microsculpture, engraving and enamel.

In the Dragon's Cloud watch, the dragon is carved out of gold and its scales are enameled. The background is made using the Damascus technique, which gives the watch a textured and layered look. The watch is decorated with a ruby cabochon in the shape of a dragon's eye.

Each watch will be released in a limited edition of 20 copies, the retail price is still unknown.
