"Only Watch" Auction

The story began in 2004 with Luke Pettavino, whose late son suffered from muscular dystrophy. Pettavino has always been an active fundraiser for research into his son's illness, a devastating myopathy that affects one in 3,000 newborn boys.

He had contacts in the watch industry through his work at the Monaco Yacht Show, and one day he had the brilliant idea to create an "Only Watch" auction, where all the proceeds would go towards further research.

Thanks to him and the generosity of watch companies have already managed to collect about 100,000,000€.
The auction takes place every 2 years and watch companies prepare their unique items for it.
