Omega Unveils Olympic-Themed Watch

Omega Unveils Olympic-Themed Watch 25 April 2024

As the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, Omega has a tradition of releasing special Olympic-themed watches to commemorate each edition of the games. For the upcoming 2024 Olympics in Paris, Omega has crafted a stunning Chronoscope Speedmaster watch that features the official colors - gold, black, and white - of the event.

The watch draws inspiration from the 1940s and comes in two editions - one made of solid Moonshine gold with a ceramic bezel in black, and the other in stainless steel with gold hands and hour markers. Both models are available on either a strap or bracelet. Omega's proprietary Moonshine gold alloy ensures the watch is highly durable and has a warm, lustrous appearance, while the brushed finish and solid gold ovals on the three-link bracelet add to the watch's overall elegance.

Omega's Olympic connection is highlighted with an embossed, solid caseback that references the Paris 2024 Olympics. Unlike previous models, Omega has avoided incorporating the Olympic rings in the watch's face, opting instead to have the rings only on the caseback, ensuring the association with the Olympic Games without being overbearing.

The prices of the watches are as follows:

Steel model on leather strap: 10,400 EUR

Steel model on bracelet: 10,800 EUR

Gold model on leather strap: 36,000 EUR

Gold model on bracelet: 56,600 EUR

Overall, the Omega Chronoscope Speedmaster watch is a stunning and worthy tribute to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and a must-have for watch collectors and Olympic fans alike.
