F.P. Journe celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Élégante quartz watch with a special edition called Gino's Dream. This release is a tribute to Gino Curkovic, a close friend of the brand who passed away in 2021. Curkovic, known for his bold style, was not only a friend but also an influential supporter and early investor in F.P. Journe.

The Gino's Dream edition features a 48mm Flat Tortue case, which is available in either Titanium or Titalyt. The bezel is adorned with 52 multi-colored baguette-cut gemstones, creating a captivating rainbow effect reminiscent of the controversial Patek Philippe Rainbow Aquanaut.

The Élégante watch, initially launched in 2014, is powered by a quartz movement. One of its notable features is its ability to conserve battery power by stopping after 35 minutes of inactivity. When the watch is moved again, the motion detector swiftly corrects the time with minimal battery consumption. This efficient mechanism allows the Élégante to boast a power reserve of over 8 years.

While the retail price for the Gino's Dream edition has not been disclosed, given the strong demand for F.P. Journe timepieces, it is expected to command a high price in the market.

This special edition serves as a meaningful tribute to the brand's late friend and reflects F.P. Journe's commitment to innovative design and exceptional craftsmanship.
