Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Frosted Gold Watches 34mm

Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak Frosted Gold Watches 34mm | Chrono 10:10 25 June 2024

In the realm of exquisite timepiece craftsmanship, Audemars Piguet stands out once again with its latest additions to the Royal Oak Frosted Gold Selfwinding collection. Welcoming 2024, two new breathtaking models have arrived: one in stellar yellow gold and another in pristine white gold, each boasting dials with a unique crystal sand finish in yellow gold or rhodium-plated. These petite marvels elevate the artistry of the Royal Oak collection to new heights.

The allure of the new 34mm Royal Oaks lies in their sophisticated play on textures and light. The frosted gold finish, a product of AP's collaboration with the renowned Florentine jeweler Carolina Bucci, envelopes the case and bracelet, offering a scintillating hammered look. Complementing this is the crystal sand-finished dial, which resembles a starlit sky, adding depth and intrigue to the watch face. The result? A watch that’s a marvel to behold, changing its persona with each flicker of light.

While the current frosted gold options cater to wrist sizes with models in 37mm and 41mm, the introduction of these designs in a more compact 34mm format opens up a world of elegance for those preferring a smaller silhouette. These pieces hint at the potential magic of larger versions, sparking enthusiasm among fans dreaming of 39mm or 41mm models adorned with such delicate detailing.

Beyond their radiant exteriors, these watches stay true to the Royal Oak legacy with the Caliber 5800 movement housed within, featuring a 50-hour power reserve. Visible through a sapphire caseback, the movement continues to tell the story of Audemars Piguet’s dedication to precision and complexity. The models ensure functionality with water resistance up to 50 meters. The retail price is EUR 62,400, but the market price will be much higher.
