An Italian investigation of Dior and Armani
09 July 2024
An Italian investigation revealed that Dior and Armani paid subcontractors pennies for the production of bags.
Dior bags priced at 57$ sell for 2,780$, while Armani bags priced at 99$ sell for 1,900$. Workers faced poor conditions, long working hours, and a dangerous environment.
Fortunately, this is not possible in the watch industry, where strict rules and traditions of craftsmanship guarantee fair work practices and high-quality production standards.
