The U.S. Department of Justice has arrested Maximilian de Hoop Cartier, heir to the Cartier jewelry house, on suspicion of money laundering linked to drug sales through USDT.

Along with his Colombian accomplices, he attempted to import 100 kg of cocaine into the U.S. and launder hundreds of millions of dollars.

Cartier faces up to 20 years in prison.

Meanwhile, 81-year-old businessman Nicolas Puech, a descendant of Hermès, has reported that his $13 billion has vanished.

He suspects that his former asset manager, Éric Freymond, may be involved in its disappearance.

Puech was previously the largest shareholder of the brand with 5.7% of the shares, which had been held in a Geneva bank since 2012 and are now missing.

Nicolas had planned to bequeath part of his estate to his former gardener.
