February brings mixed emotions for watch enthusiasts. Patek Philippe is discontinuing some iconic models ahead of Watches & Wonders, with the biggest surprise being the Nautilus Moonphase Ref. 5712/1A-001. This marks the end of an era for the legendary Nautilus collection.
Other cuts include the Aquanaut Ref. 5167/1A-001, Calatrava Travel Time Ref. 5524G, Grand Complication Ref. 5208R-01, and Split-Seconds Chronograph Ref. 5370P-011. With these retirements, Patek is clearing space for new releases, expected to be revealed at Watches & Wonders 2025.
As always, discontinued Patek models will see their prices soar. The 5712A, in particular, will become even harder to get, and prices will likely climb to 150,000€ or more in the coming year.
