The luxury rankings have recently been updated with truly unique pieces — some are rare collectibles or historical artifacts, while others represent modern luxury designs that impress with both sophistication and originality. Their prices often exceed expectations, and the variety is truly mind-blowing. Among them: works of art and sculpture, watches, jewelry, cars, and even creations made with cutting-edge technology. Here are just a few highlights.

🚘 1995 Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR

This car, sold in 2022 for a record-breaking sum, is a two-seater sports racing vehicle. Designed in 1995 for international races, it shares engineering traits with the iconic Formula 1 car Mercedes-Benz W196. Despite a tragic accident during the 24-hour Le Mans race that same year, its value skyrocketed — reaching $142 million 💵.

⌚ Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime Watch

Crafted from white gold with a crocodile leather strap, this watch is a masterpiece of horology. It features a complex movement with 20 functions, including unique chimes and dual-face time display. At the Only Watch auction, it was sold for $31 million. Even the Twin Turbo Furious Baguette, worth $13 million and worn by football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, seems modest in comparison.

💙 Blue Moon Diamond Pendant

This pendant, featuring a 12.03-carat fancy vivid blue diamond, is one of the most expensive jewelry pieces ever bought by billionaires and collectors. It was auctioned at Sotheby’s in Geneva in 2015 for $48.4 million, and named after the buyer’s daughter (identity undisclosed). Previously, in 1997, the Pink Star Gem was sold for a record $71.7 million 💷.
