Every year, warm April in Switzerland welcomes residents and visitors of this country not only with comfortable temperatures on the shores of the famous lake. April Geneva traditionally invites all admirers of fine watchmaking to the unique space of the renowned Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 salon. Visitors to the exhibition can expect unforgettable impressions from an immersive journey through stands showcasing innovation and craftsmanship in creations by leading watch brands. Refined comfort and exclusive events will turn the salon week into the celebration of the year for lovers of premium watches.
Everything you need to know about Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026
According to information from our sources, this year promises to become a season of grand discoveries at the watch salon, which will take place in Geneva on April 14–20. The format of the exhibition and accompanying events this year has become the focal point of uniting the main salon program (Salon) and city events (In The City) into one cohesive “organism”. And the purpose of this novelty is not so much to update the format, but above all to create a comfortable ecosystem of continuous exchange of experience among professionals and admirers of watchmaking masterpieces. All locations will be connected by a free shuttle, while the zones for independent watchmakers (Carré des Horlogers and Mezzanine) will expand and become significantly more open.
Main events and highlights in the Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 program:
- The salon’s traditional list will be joined by 11 new companies, including one of the oldest watch brands, Audemars Piguet, the specialized luxury clock manufacture l’Epée 1839, Behr, Chr. Girardier, Corum, Credor, Favre Leuba, March LA.B, Sinn Spezialuhren, and others. Thus, the number of exhibitors will increase to 66.
- Particular attention will be paid to innovation in the broadest sense of the word: the LAB laboratory has for the first time announced a competition among research and development divisions working on innovations in the watch industry. The projects selected through the competition will take a worthy place at Watches and Wonders 2026. A selection is planned among 15 startups according to the criteria of innovation, social impact, sustainability, and relevance to watchmaking.
- The “Watchmakers’ Village”, opened in the Pont de la Machine building, will host watchmaking мастер-классы, informational sessions dedicated to careers in this field. The organizer of the events is the Swiss Employers’ Association of the Watch Industry
- A particularly interesting event for admirers of watchmaking masterpieces will be the Wake Up! exhibition, dedicated to the history and development of alarm clocks from the Middle Ages to the present day.
- New exhibition spaces and special interactive events for young people will open. Every day from 17:00, live concerts and DJ sets by world stars are planned on the famous Quai Général-Guisan embankment, with events taking place in collaboration with the renowned jazz festival in Montreux. The traditional celebration scheduled for April 16 will include a grand musical performance that will become a bright highlight of the watch salon on the shores of Lake Geneva.
As the CEO of the salon’s foundation, Mathieu Humair, outlined the mission of Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026: “Our ambition is to offer a truly cultural program on the scale of the city, extending far beyond the salon itself. We want to provide visitors of all generations with a rich, entertaining, and multifaceted experience.” So this year’s salon is not only a business platform for the aces of watchmaking, but also a global celebration of unique artistry, where four days will be reserved for professionals and three for watch enthusiasts.
Chrono 10:10 — a guide to the most interesting salon locations
You have the opportunity to witness incredible events under the single motto “Wonders and Watches”, where thousands of professionals, journalists, and guests will gather. To better navigate this diversity of meetings and celebrations, pay attention to the locations recommended by Chrono 10:10. After the Geneva salon ends, we will gladly advise you on which pieces are best to choose from the wide variety of offerings specifically for you. This is especially relevant considering such complementary locations as the large-scale Watches and Wonders salon, the warm gatherings at Time to Watches, and the fresh independent perspective at Chronopolis.
The main stage of Watches and Wonders
The main demonstrations and presentations will take place at the Palexpo exhibition center under the patronage of the Fondation de la Haute Horlogerie. Among the participants are leading global manufactures, including Rolex, Patek Philippe, as well as a number of independent ateliers. You can expect an atmosphere of luxury, spectacular stands, and world premieres. It is here that trends for years ahead are set.
Geneva city center
During the exhibition, the entire city center turns into one large watchmaking venue. Boutiques on the famous streets arrange special showcases, invite masters, and hold private events. Many brands prefer to present new releases not in the exhibition pavilion, but in cozy hotels or private salons: for a narrow circle of connoisseurs. Such an atmosphere allows for a closer acquaintance with the philosophy of the brand and personal communication with the creators of premium watches.
Time to Watches
Villa Sarasin and the park adjacent to Palexpo will delight with entertainment, including for those who enjoy live communication. The “Watchmakers’ Village”, in addition to professional meetings, will become a magnet for gourmets — it promises to be full of food trucks, bars, and pavilions. It is in this format that dozens of independent manufacturers and young watch brands will hold friendly meetings and professional networking, while collectors and watch enthusiasts will discover new names in the watch world.
Chronopolis — for independents
Chronopolis is the first independent exhibition in the historic center of Geneva (Les Halles de l'Île). The concept is a unified ecosystem, a “city within a city”, with boutiques, workshops, and a bar. Here, everything will be arranged for informal communication among representatives of around 20 independent brands that focus on design, limited series, and honest dialogue with collectors. Entry to this location is free, and the atmosphere is sincere, without pretension, with the focus on the watches themselves.
And Chrono 10:10 is always by your side. Even if for various reasons you do not fly to Geneva, keep in mind that we will closely follow all presentations, select the most interesting models, and ensure full support of the transaction. Follow our exhibition reviews — we will tell you about the brightest new releases and help you make the right choice.
