Wristwatches have become one of the most noticeable elements of the stylish image of the famous 007 agents James Bond.

They not only emphasized his elegance but also helped in the most difficult situations, for example, they beat off flying bullets and even unbuttoned the dresses of his companions.

In the entire history of the Bond on the hands of a superhero were seen five brands of watches: Rolex, Hamilton, Seiko, Breitling, and Omega.

In the first Doctor Nou movie, which was released in 1962, James Bond wore a Rolex Submariner Ref. 6538. An accessory that did not differ in special functionality, but it could be called with complete confidence that it was the most prestigious and desirable at that time. This watch brand has once again flaunted on the hand of the agent. In the film “In the Service of Her Majesty” in 1969, James Bond again favors the famous Rolex - Chronograph Ref. 6238 and Submariner Ref. 5513.

In "Ball Lightning", 1965, Bond armed himself with Breitling Top Time aviation. Interestingly, the only sample of this watch, created specifically for the film, disappeared after the shooting. We found the watch only in 2013 when the owner put the model up for auction.

The Hamilton Pulsar electronic clock in the film “Live and let die” in 1973 made a real sensation. Black, without arrows, which the hero at the touch of a button made him glow red, became the most discussed accessory. At that time, such mechanisms were not yet known or seen.

Japanese Seiko 0674 LC in the series “The Spy Who Loved Me”, 1977, looked like a mini-computer. Hours took messages and printed them. In the film “For Your Eyes Only” in 1981, the Seiko H357 Duo Display fired poison arrows and was a detonator.

In the 1990s, Bond appeared a new watchmaker - the Swiss company Omega. For James Bond was created a special line of watches with the eloquent name Seamaster.

In five films - “Golden Eye”, “Tomorrow will never die”, “And the whole world is not enough”, “Die, but not now” and “Casino Royale” - the agent wore Omega Seamaster Professional 300M Quartz, Seamaster Diver 300M, and Seamaster Planet Ocean. The watch was shining with a blue dial, surprised by the function of the built-in flashlight, were equipped with a cap and a laser in the crown.
