Ex Rolex CEO Patrick Heiniger's watch is going to be presented at the auction  | Chrono 10:10 23 April 2023

The watch of Patrick Heiniger, who headed Rolex from 1992 to 2008, will be auctioned by the Monaco Legends Group. The auction will take place April 22-23. Heiniger, who studied law in Geneva and later worked as an intellectual property lawyer in New York, became Marketing Director of Rolex in 1986. And then he took over the reins of the watch company from his father Andre Heiniger.

The auction will include the Rolex Yacht-Master, a watch from Patrick's first year as CEO. The preliminary estimate of the model exceeds one million dollars. This unique piece in platinum was created to commemorate the ten millionth chronometer (Dix Millionième Chronometre inscription on the dial).

The 40mm watch is equipped with the same caliber 3135 as the Submariner models of the time, as well as a platinum oscillating weight. The dial has sapphire and diamond markers.
